The OnePlus 15 starts at DZD 149,900 in Algeria, with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, 12 GB of memory, 256 GB of storage and a 7,300 mAh battery. That is DZD 67,000 below the Galaxy S26 Ultra at DZD 217,000, for an equivalent chip.
Only five offers, spread across two shops, and a top price of DZD 225,000. That last figure cancels the advantage: at DZD 225,000 the OnePlus 15 costs more than the S26 Ultra at its floor price. Everything depends on the retailer.

Performance per dinar
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is the fastest Android chip in the catalogue, alongside the one in the S26 Ultra. It runs the heaviest games at maximum quality and handles video editing without slowing. The OnePlus 15 offers it at DZD 149,900, the price of an upper mid-ranger.

12GB RAM · 256GB · 6.78 · AMOLED BOE X3
Its 7,300 mAh is the second-largest battery in the catalogue behind the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Under heavy use that is a full day with margin. Under moderate use, two days are possible. No 2026 flagship at this price offers as much.
The DZD 75,000 gap
The DZD 225,000 top price comes from the second shop. The same model, same configuration, jumps from DZD 149,900 to 225,000. Capacity is not the reason: all five offers are the 12 GB / 256 GB version.
At DZD 149,900 the OnePlus 15 is an excellent deal. At the DZD 172,000 median it stays competitive against the S26 Ultra at DZD 217,000. At DZD 225,000 it loses its main argument. Always ask the cheapest shop's price before negotiating.
The narrow-network risk
Only two shops list the OnePlus 15. If it breaks, spare parts are scarcer than for a Samsung, and after-sales service depends entirely on the reseller. A cracked screen can take weeks to fix.

Resale follows the same logic. A OnePlus sells more slowly than a Galaxy or an iPhone in Algeria, and for less. Over three years that depreciation can erase the saving made at purchase.
What to check before paying
Ask for the exact model number, whether the charger is in the box, and the written warranty length. Check that 5G works on your carrier, since the OnePlus 15 is imported and not officially distributed.
Test the camera, fingerprint reader and fast charging in the shop. An imported unit may arrive with a different regional software build and without some local apps.

Warranty in Algeria
The OnePlus 15 sells without an official network: the warranty depends on the shop, usually six to twelve months locally. Ask for it in writing, with the approved repairer's address and the stated turnaround. On a DZD 149,900 phone, that document protects the purchase better than the spec sheet, and you ask for it before paying.
Verdict
Buy the OnePlus 15 at DZD 149,900 if you want the fastest chip and the biggest battery at this price, and accept a narrow service network. Negotiate up to DZD 170,000 at most. Above that, the Galaxy S26 Ultra at DZD 217,000 offers better support and easier resale for DZD 47,000 more. The OnePlus 15 is an excellent phone, provided you buy it at the right price.
