The Google Pixel 10 starts at DZD 98,000 in Algeria, with 12 GB of memory, 128 GB of storage and a Tensor G5 chip. It is the only phone in our catalogue with 12 GB of memory under DZD 100,000. The median price, however, reaches DZD 128,000 and the top price DZD 132,900.
Seven shops list it, all import specialists. No carrier or large chain carries it. That narrow distribution explains part of the price gap and raises the after-sales question.

The anomaly at DZD 98,000
At DZD 98,000 the Pixel 10 sits below the iPhone 15 at DZD 99,000 and the Galaxy S25 FE at DZD 100,000. Yet it offers 12 GB of memory against 6 GB for the iPhone and 8 GB for the Samsung. On paper that is the best memory-per-dinar in the catalogue.

The Tensor G5 is not the fastest chip on the market. It prioritises AI features and photo processing, not benchmark scores. It is smooth for everyday use. In heavy games it heats up and throttles sooner than a Snapdragon 8.
Why the price varies by DZD 35,000
A spread from DZD 98,000 to 132,900 on the same model is not explained by specifications. Three factors drive it: the seller imports directly or through a wholesaler, the warranty is provided by the shop or by nobody, and the stock was bought at a different exchange rate.
Before paying, ask who covers the warranty and for how long. A Pixel at DZD 98,000 with no warranty can cost more than a DZD 110,000 unit covered for twelve months.
The Pixel 10 Pro at DZD 169,000
Only one shop lists the Pixel 10 Pro, at DZD 169,000. It adds a larger screen, a 50 MP sensor and 16 GB of memory. At that price it faces the Galaxy S25 Ultra at DZD 172,000, which eight shops carry.

The Pixel 10 Pro makes sense if you want the simplest camera to use and Android without a skin. It does not make sense if you want fast repairs or easy resale.
The real advantage: software
Google promises seven years of updates on recent Pixel phones. That is the longest promise on the market, alongside Samsung's on its flagships. For a phone bought at DZD 100,000 and kept five years, it changes the real cost.
The promise still has to survive import. A Pixel bought outside the official network receives updates, but a repair may depend on imported parts. The software is guaranteed; the hardware less so.

Seven years of updates, concretely
Google promises seven years of Android and security updates for the Pixel 10, through 2033. No rival at DZD 98,000 offers that: Samsung stops at six years, Xiaomi at four or five. In practice the phone stays secure and compatible with new apps long after competing models are resold. That is the Pixel's strongest argument, ahead of the Tensor G5 chip.
Verdict
Buy the Pixel 10 at DZD 98,000 if you accept the import route and want the best memory-per-dinar on the market. Negotiate up to DZD 110,000 for a unit with a written warranty. Above DZD 120,000, the Galaxy S25 FE and iPhone 15 offer a better service network. Skip the Pixel 10 Pro at DZD 169,000: at that price the S25 Ultra is better distributed.
