On paper the Galaxy S25 looks a lot like the S24: 6.2 inches, 4000 mAh, three sensors. So what are you really paying for?
What does not change
The 120 Hz AMOLED, 25 W charging, 4000 mAh battery and the design — Samsung refined rather than transformed.
What actually changes
The real jump is under the hood. The Exynos 2400 — inside many Algerian S24 units — gives way to the Snapdragon 8 Elite: constant fluidity, less heat, gaming without frame drops.

The Algerian math
The new-price gap sits around 15-20%. For that you get a chip that ages slower, full AI, and better resale value.
Verdict
A well-priced S24 remains excellent — support runs to 2031. But if you keep phones 4+ years, the S25 amortizes its premium better. Compare both on our comparator.
