The duel that splits Algerian Facebook groups: Galaxy S25 Ultra or iPhone 16 Pro? Out of dogma, into what actually touches your hand.
Design and display
The iPhone remains the finish reference (titanium, Swiss rigor). The Ultra answers with the screen: 6.9" anti-glare versus 6.3" — sunlight readability goes Samsung, density of feel goes Apple.
Performance and battery
| S25 Ultra | iPhone 16 Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Chip | 8 Elite | A18 Pro |
| Battery | 5000 mAh | 3582 mAh |
| Charging | 45 W | ~27 W |
The A18 Pro still rules single-core raw power, but battery and charging clearly go to the Ultra.

Camera: two geniuses
Samsung's 200 MP captures more detail and zooms further. Apple's processing wins naturalness and video (ProRes, Dolby Vision). Stills: tie, by taste. Video: iPhone.
The argument nobody reads: resale
In Algeria, an iPhone keeps 60-70% of its value after two years; an Ultra, 45-55%. Over 4 years, the gap offsets much of the price difference.
Verdict
Video, resale, Apple ecosystem: iPhone 16 Pro. Zoom, screen, battery, S Pen, customization: S25 Ultra. Both tracked at real prices — compare before picking a side.
