Between DZD 50,000 and 100,000, the Galaxy A36 at DZD 59,900 opens the segment, the Galaxy A56 at DZD 72,000 dominates it and the Galaxy S24 FE at DZD 86,000 closes it. The Honor X9d at DZD 72,500 is the only serious alternative, with an 8,300 mAh battery that has no rival at this price.
The prices below come from active offers recorded on November 1, 2026 in the comparison tool. The same model can vary by DZD 20,000 between two shops, so the range matters as much as the lowest price.

The entry point: Galaxy A36
At DZD 59,900, the Galaxy A36 is the first model in the segment with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen at 120 Hz, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip and an IP67 rating. It is also the cheapest here to promise several years of software updates.

Samsung Galaxy A36
6GB RAM · 128GB · 6.7 · Super AMOLED
Its limits are clear: 6 GB of memory, 128 GB of storage and a 50 MP sensor without a telephoto lens. For daily use this is the best value in the segment. For night photography or heavy games, you need to climb higher.
A56 against Honor X9d
The Galaxy A56 5G at DZD 72,000 adds 8 GB of memory, a faster Exynos 1580 and tougher glass. The Honor X9d at almost the same price, DZD 72,500, answers with 12 GB of memory, 256 GB of storage and 8,300 mAh. On paper, Honor wins three columns out of four.
The difference shows elsewhere. The X9d is heavy, its software layer is followed less closely than One UI, and its top price reaches DZD 81,900, some DZD 10,000 above the A56 floor. If you buy at the lowest price, the X9d is the better choice for battery and storage. If you buy at the top price, the A56 remains preferable.
DZD 86,000 and above: Galaxy S24 FE
The Galaxy S24 FE at DZD 86,000 moves into another category: Exynos 2400 chip, 6.7-inch 120 Hz screen, 8 GB of memory and a 50 MP sensor with a telephoto lens. It is the cheapest model on this list with an optical zoom.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE
8GB RAM · 128GB · 6.7 · AMOLED Dynamic AMOLED 2X
Its top price climbs to DZD 105,000, placing it against the Galaxy S25 FE at DZD 100,000 and the iPhone 15 at DZD 99,000. At DZD 86,000 it is a good deal. At DZD 105,000, compare before paying.
The iPhone 13 trap
The iPhone 13 appears at DZD 55,000 in our survey, which looks like a bargain. The same 128 GB model sells for up to DZD 129,000 in other shops. That DZD 74,000 spread on a phone released in 2021 sums up the old-stock and used market.
At DZD 55,000 the iPhone 13 remains an excellent phone: A15 chip, OLED screen, 5G and updates. At DZD 129,000 it costs more than a new iPhone 16 at DZD 132,000. Never pay more than DZD 75,000 for this model in 2026.

Redmi Note 15 Pro, good only at the low price
The Redmi Note 15 Pro is listed between DZD 45,000 and 78,000. At DZD 45,000 it is a bargain: 200 MP camera, 6,580 mAh battery and 8 GB of memory. At DZD 78,000 it faces the A56 and the X9d, both with better software support. Check the shop's price before travelling.
