The A56 succeeds one of Algeria's best-selling phones. Is the generational jump justified, or does the discounted A55 remain the smart buy?
What changes
| A56 | A55 | |
|---|---|---|
| Chip | Exynos 1580 | Exynos 1480 |
| Charging | 45 W | 25 W |
| Support | 6 years | 4 remaining |
In real use
The Exynos 1580 gains ~20% and runs cooler. 45 W charging halves recharge time — a daily gain, not a gimmick. The screen gets brighter (1200 nits).

Our verdict
- A55 at 15-20% off: value-for-money stays unbeatable if budget rules.
- A56: the right call for longevity, fast charging and resale value.
Both are tracked price-by-price on our comparator.
