Under DZD 25,000, three numbers settle the choice: battery capacity, storage and chip. The Samsung Galaxy A07 at DZD 20,900 is the only model in our survey that pairs a 6,000 mAh battery with 64 GB of storage and a Dimensity 6300. Below DZD 20,000 you give up either the battery or the storage, and sometimes both.
We compared the active offers Algerian stores published on November 1, 2026 in our comparison tool. Prices move from one shop to the next, sometimes by DZD 4,000 for the same model. The table below shows the lowest price we found, not the manufacturer's recommended price.

What DZD 25,000 actually buys
| Model | Price found | Screen | Battery | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Samsung Galaxy A07 | DZD 20,900 – 25,500 | 6.7" | 6,000 mAh | 64 GB |
| Samsung Galaxy A06 | DZD 19,500 – 21,000 | 6.7" | 5,000 mAh | 64 GB |
| Samsung Galaxy A05 | DZD 19,500 | 6.7" | 5,000 mAh | 128 GB |
| Xiaomi Redmi A5 | DZD 19,000 | 6.88" | 5,200 mAh | 128 GB |
| Infinix Smart 9 | DZD 19,900 | 6.7" | 5,000 mAh | 128 GB |
| ZTE Blade A35e | DZD 15,000 | 6.52" | 5,000 mAh | 64 GB |
One column often surprises buyers: the Galaxy A05 and the Redmi A5 offer 128 GB for less than the A07 in 64 GB. That is accurate, and it is the only serious argument against our pick. Both are a generation older, with a slower chip and an older Android version. Over three years the difference shows when apps open, not on the spec sheet.

Why the A07 stays ahead
The Galaxy A07 earns its place for one reason: 6,000 mAh is roughly 20% more than most rivals at this price. In real use — WhatsApp, calls, video, some browsing — that means a full day without looking for a charger, and often two days of light use. The 25 W charger is not in the box, so budget for one.
The Dimensity 6300 is not a gaming chip. It runs Android without stutter, opens everyday apps and handles 4G. Demanding 3D games drop their graphics quality after a few minutes. For a first phone, a backup device or work limited to calls and messaging, that is enough.
The 6.7-inch panel is LCD at 90 Hz, not OLED. The difference shows in shallower blacks and in brightness under direct sun. At this price, no model offers a good OLED.

Traps to avoid
The first trap is storage. A 32 GB model no longer takes updates comfortably: Android and the preinstalled apps already use around ten gigabytes. Avoid anything under 64 GB, even when the price looks attractive.
The second trap is the Android version. A phone sold in 2026 with Android 12 or 13 will probably stop receiving security patches. Ask for the exact version before paying and check it in the settings of the display unit.
The third is a price without stock. Several shops list a low figure and then announce the phone is unavailable. The lowest price only matters if the device is actually on the shelf. Our store directory shows which retailers keep their offers current.

Should you move up to DZD 36,000?
The Galaxy A17 at DZD 36,000 changes category: 128 GB, a newer Exynos 1330 and longer software support. If you keep a phone for more than two years, the DZD 11,000 gap is justified. If this is a secondary device or a child's first phone, the A07 is enough and the difference pays for a case, a screen protector and a memory card.
Verdict
Buy the Galaxy A07 at DZD 20,900 if the lowest price matters more than storage. Buy the Galaxy A05 at DZD 19,500 in 128 GB if you download a lot and accept a slower chip. Skip the DZD 15,000 models with 32 GB: the DZD 5,000 saved is paid back in two years of sluggishness.
