Phones keep growing, and a quiet part of the market is done with it. Many Algerian buyers want a device that works one-handed, disappears into a pocket, and still delivers flagship performance. The OnePlus 13s makes exactly that promise — and keeps it.
Compact no longer means compromised
The 13s runs the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the same silicon as 150,000-DZD flagships. The only sacrifices are millimetres:
| Component | Detail |
|---|---|
| Display | 6.32" AMOLED, 120 Hz |
| Chipset | Snapdragon 8 Elite (3 nm) |
| RAM / Storage | 12–16 GB / 256–512 GB |
| Battery | 5850 mAh |
| Charging | 80 W SUPERVOOC |
| Cameras | 50 MP main + 50 MP 2x telephoto |
| Weight | ~185 g |
A 5850 mAh cell in this chassis is an engineering feat — compacts two years ago capped at 4300 mAh. Thanks to silicon-carbon battery chemistry, an intense day is guaranteed and two calm days are realistic.
The one real debate: cameras
Two excellent cameras (main + 2x telephoto) instead of four mediocre ones — no ultra-wide here. For portraits, products and documents that is enough, and Hasselblad color tuning is pleasant. If ultra-wide is essential, a conventional flagship suits you better.

Price and import warnings for Algeria
There is no official Algerian launch yet; units arrive via import at roughly 95,000–115,000 DZD depending on channel (UAE, China, Europe). Two classic traps:
- Network bands: Chinese variants can miss bands used by Algerian carriers — verify the exact model number.
- Warranty: a price too good to believe usually has no shop-backed warranty behind it.
The good: flagship performance in a one-hand size, 5850 mAh + 80 W charging, gorgeous 120 Hz panel, clean OxygenOS.
The trade-offs: no ultra-wide, variable import pricing, no wireless charging.
Verdict
The compact phone enthusiasts have waited years for. If your hand is tired of 6.8-inch slabs and your budget is near 100,000 DZD, compare real store prices on Mobilidz first — the spread between shops on this model often exceeds 15,000 DZD.
